Job Description
Brickendon Grange Golf Club are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent leadership skills to drive culinary excellence and lead our kitchen team. We are located 2.5 miles from fore street Hertford. This will be a full-time, on-site, permanent contract with varying shifts.
Duties
– Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen
– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
– Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training.
– Maintaining high-quality standards
– Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
– Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies
Qualifications
– Extensive experience in a professional kitchen environment
– Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
– Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
– Proficient in menu planning, costing, and inventory management
– Excellent communication and organisational skills
– Relevant culinary qualifications.
Salary is dependent upon experience
£36,000 – £45,000 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE.
